Project Scope
- A laboratory study will be conducted to assess causative factors affecting temporal changes in respirator fit. The possible causative factors include: weight gain or loss, face size change, 3-D scans and nose shape change, wrinkling and scarring, medical procedures, BMI, percent body fat, height, age and gender.
Milestones
- Q1 Complete revision of the protocol per HSRB review comments and Start data collection for the pilot study.
- Q2 Start data collection for the initial testing and Complete data collection for the pilot study.
- Q3 Complete data collection for the 110 subjects and Conduct statistical analyses of the first pilot study.
- Q4 Complete initial testing for all 220 subjects and Draft a manuscript based on the first pilot study data.
